What does Cryptain do?

Cryptain lets your business take payments in BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, BNB, POL, LTC, DOGE, SOL, BCH, XRP, TON and more. You create an invoice, a payment link or a button, or install a plugin; your customer pays from any wallet or exchange; we watch the blockchain and tell your website the moment the payment is confirmed.

How long does it take to get set up?

Most businesses take their first payment the same day:

  1. Open an account and confirm your email.
  2. Add your website as a store. You get API keys and a webhook secret.
  3. Install the plugin for your platform, paste the keys, and make a small test payment.

No website? Skip step 3 and send a payment link instead.

Do my customers need a Cryptain account?

No. They pick a coin, scan a QR code or copy the address, and pay. Nothing to sign up for and no app to install.

Can I get paid without a website?

Yes. Create a payment link or an invoice in the dashboard and send it by email, WhatsApp, Telegram or social media. You can also embed a donation button on any page.

Can I take crypto at a counter or a market stall?

Yes. Open Point of sale on any phone or tablet, type the amount in your currency and turn the screen to the customer. The page changes to "Paid" as soon as the payment is seen on the network. Staff can have their own cashier logins.

Can someone set it up for me?

Yes. Our team installs and configures Cryptain on your website for a one-time $199, and makes the first test payment with you. Book the integration service.

Coins and checkout

Which coins and networks can customers use?

BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, BNB, POL, LTC, DOGE, SOL, BCH, XRP, TON, plus USDT and USDC on several networks. The full list is on the supported currencies page. You choose which ones each store shows at checkout.

What if the price of the coin moves while the customer is paying?

The crypto amount is locked when the customer chooses a coin and stays fixed for the invoice's payment window. If they pay late, the invoice is marked late and your store settings decide whether to accept it at the original amount.

What happens if the customer sends too little or too much?

The invoice records exactly what arrived. You choose a small tolerance so a few cents of network fees never block an order. A real shortfall shows as underpaid, and the customer can top it up; an overpayment is marked so you can refund the difference.

Com que rapidez os pagamentos são confirmados?

It depends on the network. Tron, Solana, TON, Base and Arbitrum usually confirm in seconds; Bitcoin takes a block or two. Each network's confirmation count is shown on the currencies page.

What if a customer uses the wrong network or token?

The checkout shows the network in large type, with a warning, to prevent this. If it still happens, send the invoice link and transaction hash to support. Some mistakes can be recovered, some cannot; we will tell you which and what it costs.

Do XRP and TON payments need a memo?

Yes, when the checkout shows one. It is how we match the payment to the invoice. Customers paying from an exchange must enter the memo or tag in the withdrawal form.

Which currencies can I set prices in?

Prices can be set in 20 currencies, including USD, EUR, GBP, INR, AED and more. The customer still pays in crypto; the amount is converted at checkout.

Can I bill customers every month?

Yes. Set up a recurring invoice weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly. We email the customer a payment link when each one is due, and they can see every bill in their customer portal.

Fees, balances and withdrawals

How much does it cost?

Starter has no monthly fee: you pay 1% on each payment into your balance. Paid plans send payments straight to your own wallets with no per-payment fee. See the pricing page for the current plans.

Who pays the network fee?

The customer pays the network fee on the payment they send. When you withdraw from your balance, the network fee is shown before you confirm and taken from the amount sent. With own-wallet settlement there is no withdrawal at all.

What is the difference between balance and own-wallet settlement?

With balance settlement payments land in your Cryptain balance and you withdraw when you like. With own-wallet settlement each payment goes directly to an address you control; we never hold it. Many merchants start with the balance and move to their own wallets as they grow.

How do I withdraw?

Save a withdrawal address under Wallets, then choose Withdraw, enter the amount and confirm with two-factor authentication. New addresses are locked for 0 hours before first use, which protects you if someone gets into your account.

Can withdrawals happen on their own?

Yes. Turn on auto-withdraw for a coin and choose a threshold. When the balance reaches it, we send it to your saved address.

Can I pay many people at once?

Yes. On plans with mass payouts, upload a CSV of addresses and amounts, check the preview, and confirm once with two-factor authentication.

Can I receive dollars or euros in my bank?

Not through Cryptain. We settle in the coin your customer paid. If you want local currency, accept stablecoins such as USDT or USDC and convert them with an exchange you already use.

Plugins and API

Which platforms have a plugin?

WooCommerce, WordPress, Easy Digital Downloads, WHMCS, Blesta, ClientExec, PrestaShop, OpenCart, Magento 2, Shopify and XenForo, plus SDKs for PHP, Node.js and Python. See all integrations.

Is there an API?

Yes, a REST API with signed requests, idempotency keys and signed webhooks. You can create invoices, payment links and payouts, and read balances and rates. Read the API docs.

What if my website misses a webhook?

We retry failed webhooks with increasing delays for about a day. You can see every delivery and resend any of them from the dashboard, and you can always ask the API for an invoice's current status.

Can the checkout show my brand?

Yes. Each store can have its own logo, colour and name on the checkout. On supported plans you can also serve the checkout from your own domain, such as pay.yourshop.com.

Can my team share the account?

Yes. Invite people with a role: owner, admin, finance, developer, support or cashier. Each person signs in with their own login and two-factor authentication, and every action is logged.

Can I get alerts on my phone?

Yes. Connect Telegram to get a message for every payment and withdrawal, and to check balances from a chat.

Security and compliance

How do you keep accounts safe?

Two-factor authentication, passkeys, alerts for new sign-ins, locks on new withdrawal addresses, signed API requests and webhooks, encrypted secrets and a full audit log. Details are on our security page.

Will you ever ask for my seed phrase or private keys?

Never. Own-wallet settlement only needs public addresses or an extended public key. Anyone asking for your seed phrase is trying to steal from you.

Do I need to verify my identity?

Depending on your volume and the way you settle, we may ask for ID and business documents before you can withdraw. It takes a few minutes. Our AML and Identity Policy explains why.

Quais empresas não podem usar a Cryptain?

Anything illegal, plus a short list of high-risk businesses such as unlicensed gambling and financial schemes. Read the Acceptable Use Policy, or ask us before you start.

Can a customer reverse a payment?

No. Confirmed blockchain payments are final, so there are no chargebacks. If you want to give money back, you send a refund from the invoice.

Refunds, tax and support

Como faço um reembolso para um cliente?

Open the invoice and choose Refund. Enter the customer's wallet address on the same network and confirm with two-factor authentication. The network fee is taken from the amount refunded.

Do I pay tax on crypto I receive?

Usually yes. Tax rules for crypto vary by country. Download your statements and CSV exports from the dashboard and give them to your accountant.

How do I contact you?

Use the chat in the corner, open a ticket from your dashboard, or send a message. For larger projects you can book a call with our team.

Where can I see if something is down?

The status page shows the live state of checkout, the API, exchange rates and every network, with 30 days of history.
